I Could Do This All Day

I really could do this all day…
Here’s the domino effect.
So I’ve been admiring many other blogs that display permanent pages of their garden photos.
Thanks to Debra of Gardens Inspired, who inspired me to actually start this.
I had been meaning to do that.
Choosing a few photos that give a good feel of the gardens here is a task since it means looking through so many photos. So then I figured I really needed to sort my photos.
And I’ve been meaning to do that anyway.
Good thing I had actually already started doing that. But it was only the tip of the iceberg.
The thing is I really enjoy doing this, but sitting at a computer for hours can’t be all that good for a person. So I try not to do it all in one sitting. I type, I get up, and then I come back and sort images, I get up, and so on.
So I got up, watched some birds, had some lunch, and then came back to the sorting…
and the thing is, I really don’t want to do this all day. Working my way back through my 2011 photos, I made it into my September pics, which really isn’t bad but there is still a long way to go. It will not be done in one day.
If you made it past all the above blabbering, you realize that I’m at the end and yet still in the middle.
In any case, I hope you enjoyed Jeff’s bird photos, as well as the photos I have placed on the tabbed page so far.

NH, thanks so much for the link back to my Blog. I find that I’m continually inspired by the gardening friends I meet online – you are no exception.
I absolutely love Jeff’s images here and will lo0k forward to more. Your gardens are magnificent; I’m happy you have claimed public ownership! I will continue to enjoy visiting them.
Your front yard must be breathtaking to view in all seasons!

It’s a double treat to visit and see all the birds as well as the photos of your garden on the tab.

Oh yes, I spend lots of time tagging photos! You have some beautiful ones, though, both of the birds and of your garden! You have a gorgeous garden. I love your wishing well!
Gone Tropical says:
lol, I had to read this post TWICE. Once to read and once to thoroughly look at the bird pictures 😉
And you inspired me, I will do a ‘my garden page’ as well 😀

I enjoy watching birds that stick around in the winter and I really love your photos.

Liked the bird photos and the garden photos. I need to reorganize and name all my photos this winter and haven’t even started.

Great idea! You have some amazing shots of our feathered friends! I very much enjoyed this post. Have fun looking back through your photos!

That is a good idea to display some of the garden photos permanently. I may try that as well. These birds in winter photos are lovely! They really stand out against the snow.
Donna says:
Hopefully this comment makes it through…. I love your bird photos. They look like they are in a nature magazine, so beautiful.
Alistair says:
We get a great thrill out of the visits from the garden birds, these ones are amazing, lovely pictures.

I could look at your birds all day! Your photos are great. A great part of what I do in my garden is for the birds, as well as other wildlife.
I also enjoyed looking at some of the other photos of your garden. I have visited New Hampshire once in my life. I was blown away by its natural beauty. I was ready to move there immediately, until I started noticing snow plows sitting in peoples front yards!
Dewi says:
Beautiful birds. You so lucky to be able to take photographs of them.
Lyn says:
You have such cute birds visiting your garden!
Miranda Bell says:
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog – always lovely to have new visitors and am v. pleased to have discovered your blog too – your birdy photos are quite gorgeous – such different varieties of birds to here but that is one of the joys of blogging in that you get to experience the wildlife in different countries other than your own… enjoy your weekend Miranda
